Which one works better for you? Do you use the plastic ones differently from the metal ones?

I used to like the plastic ones better then I bought the metal ones at Sally's. They had a smooth kind and one with a slight raised edge. I prefer the smooth metal ones now, they don't bend over like the plastic did. I HATED the raised edged ones they got tangled too easy
