Attention Michigan Curlies!!!!
Models needed!
If you would be willing to come to a West Bloomfield salon and be a model for a stylist who has been to a Devaconcept Curlaboration and has had special tutoring by a brilliant Florida-based stylist for a special first-time-client rate please respond to this link.
Dates and prices would be announced at a later time...this initial post is to gather information on willing participants.

Easily Overconditioned
Cleaning - alternate b/w poo bars/ACV rinse or cowash with Suave or V05
Rinse Out: anything Giovanni, L'oreal Nutri Gloss
Leave In: Conditioner/honey/h20 mixed in a spray bottle
Styling Prods: LOOB, LA Looks Sport, L'oreal TW, HESMU, KCCC
1st Day: add prod, scrunch with a tshirt, plop 10-15 mins, scrunch, add spray gel, diffuse till mostly dry
2nd Day: Aloe/H20 in spray bottle, scrunch & diffuse
(fav products bolded)

I'm interested, too! I'm in Ann Arbor, and I haven't had a cut since last March. It's about time Michigan got a Deva stylist!

I know we have a few more Michigan curlies--there are some who responded in the Curl Gatherings forum. Not everyone still hangs out on the hair board, so maybe you could try there: Michigan curlies!!

Any idea when you'll give us more details? I'm in bad need of a cut - I'm growing out a bad one and my layers are uneven. I don't want to head to my normal stylist if I'd be able to visit this curly specialist soon. Thanks!

I'm hoping to post more information next week.
The stylist is actually me and I'm waiting to hear about a job.
When I find out I can post more info about when and how much.
If I don't find out by February 20, I'll be able to post an alternative location with prices.
Thanks so much for your interest! I know how frustrating it is to be here with no one who gets curls!

Well, I have a meeting on Monday with the salon. They said meeting as opposed to "second interview" which is a very good sign. I have to talk to them about what the prices on curly cuts will be and see if I can talk them into a special first time rate like I was planning. As soon as I find out their plan for me, I'll let you all know.
Thanks so much--I so hope to get to meet Mich curlies in person! It's one thing to work on curlies without a clue who need help (which is so nice to be able to help!) but it's also so amazing to be able to work with someone who knows what they need!
