Default La Bella Styling Gel Rawks!

My true love has deserted me: FX Curl Booster Fixative Gel hasn't been working, for a while now. But, I ignored it, hoping the problem would go away, and went on with hair that frizzed and poofed. And apparently, the answer to all my problems was under the bathroom sink.

So, La Bella Styling Gel, with your wonderfully gross tecture, endearingly icky smell, and generically awesome name, you officially rawk. My curls curl, shine, and bounce again, and I guess I needed your long-lasting hold; FXCBFG has no hold. At all.

I haven't officially used it yet - just rewetting, but so far? sheer awesome.

But I could've used you all last week! This is a strictly homework-only no-plans weekend. Mumble grumble mutter...

LOL! Yeah, the smell is weird. It makes me nauseous! It has this weird orangey scent. Great Post!

When I used La Bella, I loved it too!
Here's a shot:

I haven't used this in a loooong time, but got it out to play with when I read this thread. I figured it would be safe to experiment, I am not going any place today. Well, now I wish I did have somewhere to go, I am having an awesome hair day with LaBella! All I did today was co-wash w/ Suave Cherry Blossom (I normally prefer VO5, but I love the smell of this), comb through a tiny bit of LOOB (something else I haven't used in year or so) and scrunched in a generous amount of LaBella. Great clumpage, really boingy and bouncy and shiny.

I love when forgotten products perform so great. This is an awesome hair day for me. (Plus this a totally cheap routine too!) This is definitely going back into my rotation!

I was a big time user of Eco Styler gel but LaBella kicked Eco's booty. I don't even co-wash. I just rinse my hair in the shower, apply LaBella, then spray it down with Soft Sheen Fro spray. My hair dries with soooooffffttt ringlets (4A/B hair). I also apply Wild Growth Hair oil to my scalp before applying gel and SSF.

I loovvee LaBella. It is my absolute favorite to use. Before my curly girl ways I tried using it and I absolutely hated it. Then, once I started Co-Pooing, my hair completely changed. I loovvee my LaBella now, It just happened to be the only gel I had because I used to use moose. I won't touch moose again. My only complaint is that it sometimes causes realllyyy bad build up. But that's when I bust my Keratin infused, sulfate free shampoo from Organix.

marrissaw, does the la bella curls gel you use have Hydroxypropylcellulose in it? The one they sell at CVS & Walmart does. But there is another version on amazon for for money that does not have it. I am wondering which formula everyone loves so I can try it...I wouldn't mind wasting $2 at walmart but I don't want to spend $8 on amazon & end up hating it. Thanks!!
