I am loving all the pics of the bobs, especially when 3b hair is shown. How to do you get the bob to be chin-shoulder length when dry and curly, without getting triangle-head?

I'm thinking of trying a longer bob. Would a slightly inverted bob be good for my 2a/S-waves?

That's really pretty RubberBiscuit. Wish I could get my fringe to sit like that.

Rubber Biscuit your short curly bob is really really nice. Do you have photos of your profile and the back as well?

I'm looking for inspiration photos to take for my next trim and you could be it! If you allow of course.

It is so nice having style to my hair!

Before I felt frumpy & boring.

Now I feel like a French girl... Very chic!

For Ondulee It has been rainy here for the past 10 days - yuck! Today was the first nice day, so I took some quick pics for you.

By the way, if anyone cares to answer, does my hair look 3A or 3B? I'm always confused

I don't know if my haircut can still be considered a bob or not - the top layer doesn't curl very well, so I had her cut that layer a lot shorter this time. I still have length on the sides, and the back is quite stacked. What do you think - bob, or not bob?

Thanks! I do love that even though it's pretty short, it's still quite versatile.

wow! Your hair looks great, humidity must agree with your hair! I'm going to get a cut soon and will be using you as my model, I think you have a stronger curl than me so I think you lean to 3B, whereas I think I'm more 3A with a touch of 2C on my crown. I just love your hair! So so pretty!

BTW, if you're wearing makeup in your photos, it is very pretty! If you're not, you are just naturally gorgeous, (did that sound insulting?) I meant it as a compliment anyway!

You are too sweet! definitely make-up...

Thanks for clearing up the curl typing thing... I always see lots of pics of hair similar to mine, but everyone types it differently!

p.s. enjoy your new hair cut! I'm lovin' every second of mine!

Still working the curly bob - keeping it pretty short for the summer.

^^^^ ohmygosh i LOVE your hair! I have total curl jealousy over here. I love everything about it. The cut, color - the big bouncy spirals - it looks amazing! I can't imagine ever losing that much length from my hair but it looks amazing on you!!

rubber biscuit - I would've said you were a 3a/b mix - B in the back, A in the front... beautiful curls!

The key is proper layers, or even -gasp- thinning shears! My hair was thinned out at the ends and I had an awesome shape as it grew out. However, of course the ends looked scraggly (when wet) so I eventually chopped them off. Now my hair doesn't have that awesome shape.

When I first got my hair cut, it was about an inch below my ears, it was a bob. Now,it's barely touching my shoulders. I think I'll keep it this length. Easy to manage, but I can put it in a ponytail whenever I need to(: So yayness claps for curly bobs(:
