Here's a sad little picture of my DIY inverted bob.

I really do love it! And I've gotten more compliments on this hair style than I ever have in my life!

Thanks! Though I blame the fever. I'm sure if I hadn't had a fever, I wouldn't have tried cutting my own hair, much less by putting it all in a ponytail and chopping away with the scissors

I cut mine into a bob a few weeks ago. I did it on impulse (and I really wanted to try it!). My hair appears much shorter now...I was trying to go for more of an inverted bob. I'm going to let it grow a bit more before I have it touched up some. My invertedness isn't that noticeable.

I am seriously contemplating cutting my own hair into a bob...I figure if I mess it up, I can always get it fixed. Right now my hair is about armpit length and I notice that I am constantly wearing it pulled back or up in a twisty messy knot. My cue that it's time to cut the hair is when I'm always wearing it up...so I guess it's time!

It will be hard though...because I do get a lot of compliments on my curls. I have a small face, so I actually think shorter hair agrees with me more. Stand by! I need to go get some hair scissors first...don't want to botch it too terribly bad!

I did it....went pretty conservative and the hair (wet) is about shoulder length. Wanted to make sure I didn't screw it up completely before going any shorter. Stand by for final results!

I think it turned out pretty good for a FREE, self cut! Actually, I like it better than a lot of salon cuts I've had.
