Default Product pricing variations

I find it amazing how much pricing can vary from online to in store. Deva is one that comes to mind. It can be found online for $17ish (not including shipping). But I can always find it in beauty supply stores for around $14...no shipping. Thats quite a difference. Oh, and the bottle of OneC I bought this weekend has the 'old' label but I am sure the a-cone is not in there

Can you tell me which beauty supply stores you shop to get the Deva at that price? I'm in Boston and would be up for a drive across MA if it meant that I don't have to pay shipping!

Too funny! I got it in Hair Cosmopolitan in the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough MA! It was $13.99 for the conditioner. I didn't check the pricing of the other Deva products as I didn't need any. Have you called the Ulta in Natick to see how much it is there?

I haven't, but mainly because I assumed Ulta would carry Deva at a more "retail" cost. They aren't even allowed to carry the Deva products on their website. There's an Ulta closer to me in Everett, but I just haven't checked it out yet. I'll be sure to find the Hair Cosmopolitan on my next trip west!

I like that Ulta in Everett - it is new and shiny!! You are probably right about Ulta - I have a love/hate relationship with them. I am not sure if Hair Cosmo has a store locator or not but that might work too.

I'm in the Everett area and am a frequent visitor to the Ulta store. The Deva prices there are pretty much the same as salon prices, but Ulta regularly sends out coupons for 20% off, or $3.50 off $10, so you could get a little break compared to buying it at a salon.

There is a Hair Cosmpolitan at the Mall of NH in Manchester - not sure if that is a better drive or not for you.

Thanks so much for these suggestions, ladies. You know, the Ulta coupons are great but they are so restricted as far as the items that they can be used on. I know you can't use them for Bare Escentuals and I don't think they are valid for Deva, either - but I could be wrong. It seems that by the time you've eliminated all the brands you'd want to use them for, all that is left are the Ulta and drugstore brands.

I agree about how restricted they are, but I'ved used the 20% off one on Deva products before at that Ulta...it's been a while, so they may have changed the rules, but last fall I bought Deva stuff a couple of different times, and I know I was able to use the coupons.
