Tell me more about amino acids

I have read some threads lately on amino acids and I want to learn more. I would like to try a recipe I found on cherrylola's blog http://www.cherrylola.com/?p=442
I know that amino acids are protein and I suspect I am somewhat protein sensitive. Would this be a bad thing for me to try? Anyone else try something like this? The results seem to be great but I may have different hair type. What do we know about amino acids and how they differ from other proteins??

3b/c mix; mixture of fine, med. and coarse texture with med-high porosity

Current HG routine: Tresemme Naturals conditioner; AG Fast Food LI; AG Recoil; CJ CIAB = no crunch, lots of body and awesome definition

Amino acids make up protein, when chained together. Depending on the chain of amino acids, the type of protien changes. The following amino acids are in braggs.
  • Alanine
  • Arginine
  • Aspartic Acid
  • Glutamic Acid
  • Glycine
  • Histidine
  • Isoleucine
  • Leucine
  • Methionine
  • Phenylalanine
  • Proline
  • Serine
  • Threonine
  • Tyrosine
  • Valine
  • Lysin
Are you sensitive to all proteins?
