I Just Brushed My Hair.....

I have had this urge to brush my hair all day today. I am finally at home from work, so I brushed. It felt so good. I haven't brushed my hair in years. I'm a frizzy mess right now, but my scalp feels so good.
From Michael Berg:

Every person has a unique connection to the Creator that can never be extinguished, and every person has a great soul that can manifest important things in our world. To make a person feel less than they are because of something inside themselves, be it faith, race, or sexual orientation, is the greatest sin of all."

Brushing can feel good. Lucky girl that you can brush without it getting tangled in your hair or your hair breaking. Brushes hate me. It took me over 30 minutes to get the last brush out of my hair.
Speckla, your hair is curlier than mine. I'm more of a wavy. It still amazes me how a wavy can have such frizzies when brushing. I have such a weird texture of hair. I think it is a wannabe curly.

Right now my hair is a drippy wet mess. I just got done drowning it in the tub and suffocating it with a ton of conditioner.

I can brush my hair when it's above shoulder length and no problems. Anything longer gets too tangled. I think you have very nice hair.
I went to get my roots done the other day and hadn't done anything with my hair prior to going - just a bit of avg and a ponytail. My poor hairdresser couldn't get through it to get to my roots as it was so knotty, so she took a brush to it. My God, I'd forgotten just how big my hair is when brushed out, I thought of the "brushed out" thread here but I didn't have a camera. I think the last time it was brushed was when I had DS2 (now 11)and had jelcos in both my hands and couldn't do anything much as I couldn't bend my hands - my Mum had to brush it and tie it back for me.
The worst thing was remembering that was how I went through my school years (shudders at the thought).

Even though my hairdresser advises against it and many of you advise against it, I love brushing my hair and will do it at night. I don't care if I look like a frizzy mess before I go to bed. I always wash my hair the next day anyways, so why not. It feels good on my scalp for my hair to move around. I sometimes lightly massage my scalp with my finger tips after I brush my hair.
That's right, I said it! I wear scrunchies!!

I am a sulfate washing, cone slabbing, curly lovin' s.o.b. The CG police haven't caught me yet.
