Default probably getting my haircut tomorrow.

hi. I might be going over to Jersey to get my haircut tomorrow, and I want a short cut for Spring. Does anybody know any good haircuts for my face shape (round)? I can't get my mom to understand that I need layers. She said it'll look bad I told her I know what I'm talkinag about (lol) so is one length good? I just dont wanna start unnecessary bickering lol, but I know one length will most likely make me look like a triangle head.

So does anybody know any good cuts? Pics would be appreciated ^_^ Thanks in advance...

It's hard to suggest styles without pictures. Many curlies are going for bobs lately, either regular or inverted. There are lots of threads on that, try a search. Good luck with the cut!

If you're going for a bob, I would say to go for some layers; just make sure they aren't too short. I got a chin length bob about a month ago and it's almost all one length with just some layers tapered at the ends. My hair is very thick and it's too bottom heavy and is triangling (is that a word??) too much for me. When I go back in a couple of weeks, I'm having her put more layers in.

I figure I should chime in here since marinacurlz already recommended my cut! Thanks, marinacurlz!

I also have a round face, and you don't want to go too short since that will only make your face look rounder. You definitely want layers with anything above the shoulders--I have lots. You can check out my Fotki for pics.

thanks for the suggestions but I chickened out lol. I know bad me. But I've been waiting for it to grow out and it finally got to a nice length that I enjoy, so for now I'll stick with my long hair. Btw, I love all your hairs =D Just sayin' harr.
