Sorry about that. Fotki got weird so I created a new Photobucket page.

I know everyone gets sick of typing people. I know types don't really matter but I've been CG for more than a year now and just I'm curious what you all think.

I have been a "stick-straighty" my whole life, even when air dried I had no curl or wave. However, when I hit 45 my hair started curling underneath in the back in a palm sized spot. I fought it for about 6 months but finally gave up as more and more of my head changed to curly or should I say frizzy.

Now that I'm CG I LOVE my hair and don't ever straighten. It definitely curls right from the root but is a very soft loopy spiral. It's only easy to get the canopy straight, the back/underneath will not stay straight, at all.

Thanks everyone! I've always thought 2C but really wasn't sure about the 3A part as my hair doesn't seem to fit the "rules" of typing.

eche we have talked before about going curly as adults and it's funny because my hair looks soooo much like yours too. Does that mean I'm moving to 3a??? But I wanna be a wavy

Your right, Jess, our hair is a lot alike. It took my hair a loooooooong time to get to this point. Can't say what your's will do though. Too bad, I could make a lot of money if I could predict hair!

I really wish we could have a curly convention so I could see everyone in person and ask you all tons of questions!

OK, so everyone that has photos here, WOW just wow! Your hair is amazing! This is so much fun!!! I LOVE having curly hair and I LOVE that this website is here so I can talk to others that like their hair.

I also love that I can be gaga over hair and it's OK. My DH thinks I'm nuts. I told him the other day I was thinking of coloring my hair a medium burgundy color and he looked at me and said "nothing about you and your hair surprises me anymore." Hrumphf! He's a stick in the mud. Glad you all are herewith me so I can be hair wacky.
