Default 2 compliments on my newly CG hair!
It is horrible rainy weather in NYC today and two people said I had "adorable" "cute" curls! This is major for me because I went CG just a couple days ago. In the past this type of weather plus futile attempts to beat my hair into submission resulted in humongous frizz. So I read many of your posts about what products to use and clumping and watched one of the videos you posted and looked at all the before/after pictures and used the scrunch n' pump method, the Ice Queen method, the pixie curl method and voila!

The curls became a little limp off and on during the day maybe probably because I overused moisturizer and butter pomade since it was so damaged from hot rollers and blow drying and but everything was CG and considering the awful weather, I was thrilled with my curls. I thought I was 2c - I morphed into 3a and maybe a few 3b's here and there. Happy curlypearl!

YAY! Im so happy you got compliments. They make my day, and really keep me staying CG.

On a side note. But missy im waiting to see some pictures. We want to see this wonderful hair.

Yay! That's awesome! I can't wait until it rains here and I can go out and not worry about my hair.

You both made me smile. I'm so totally technically lame. You want to laugh - I don't even have a camera right now. (eek! embarrassed.) I know I can get a cheapie in a drugstore. I'll get to it - life has been a little crazy recently. Thanks for the support - I'm really happy I found this website.

Sorry to dampen the mood, but I'm CG and still worry about my hair in the rain! Sometimes it makes my hair look better but sometimes it dissolves all my hold and I get frizzy limp curls.

People think my hair isn't natural, so I never get compliments unless I mention how frizzy my hair is that day.. they'll be like "OMG. Your hair is natural? Lucky."
