frizzbgone - jillipoo and suburbanbushbabe know of what they speak. I had tried FOTE AVG and some other ones and it did nothing for me other than make my hair squeeky/funny feeling. I finally saw some of the Theraneem Leaf and Aloe gel in a Whole Foods so I picked it up. It mixed beautifully with BHRG and I also mixed it with a medium hold gel (I think it might have MGA styling gel) with good results. It boosted the hold of that gel just a smidge which was good.

Lisa, I mixed KCCC with Max Green Alchemy Styling gel today (the lightest holding gel I own, which is similar to the hold I recall from ArcAngel). It's not even noon yet and already I've gotten two hair compliments today! Woo hoo! Thank you for the suggestion. I'll definitely be using this combo again. (The BRHG might be better for me in higher dew points.)

I did this today -- and liked it! I probably used a little too much Spiral Spritz but I must say that the curls withstood a fair amount of wind. (It was my first time using both the Afrodetangler and the Spiral Spritz, so getting good hair was such a bonus!)
Thanks for the recommendation, FrizzBgone!

Ohm sweet hair pudding with KCCC. Never thought a pudding with just KCCC would be enough hold for all my hair but I actually got 1st and 2nd day with it.

I really like the clumping effect I get with FOTE but it doesn't have enough hold on it's own for ME. I mixed it with BRHG today and got just the right amt. of hold.
burgundy I hate to tell you this but Komaza pudding is really NICE it looks like a thick, creamy gel I use it as a LI/enhancer but for some it has enough hold on it's own.

Yep looks like pudding. The Ohm is bright pink and smells wonderfully like strawberry. The Komaza is white and the smell is amazing. I have never had a better hair day than when I used Komaza. There is also a review of it in my blog. It's definitely my next purchase as I'm out . My advice is to get some pudding samples from kathymack first. I suggest the Ohm and Komaza pudding as well as CJ coffee coco and DM coco curly.

That's why I suggest the samples. Try them and then decide what you want to buy a big jar of. I do always use something else with hold over them. I haven't gotten enough hold out of a pudding alone.

Sounds interesting - I'll have to give it a try. Did you use a leave-in under it? I haven't used the Ohm SHP since winter; I liked Komaza pudding better (had more consistent results) but have been considering trying the Ohm in my spring product rotation.

I just got my samples from KM! I got everything you mentioned, except the OHM cause she doesn't carry it. - carry it, like she's an actual distributor!! (She's definitely my pusher tho!). I'm really slow with this stuff so im thinking of writing out all the possible POSSIBILITIES with all the products i now have!

My current combos have been leaving in a little Burt's Bees Moisturizing conditioner or Suave Naturals Waterlily Aloe conditioner after shampoo or just co-wash and than layering FOTE AVG and La Bella Lots of Curls when my hair is dripping.
It seems like I get better results with the Burts Bee's conditioner, but maybe it's because it's a thicker conditioner than the Suave. Too bad it is not as cheap as Suave or I would do it more often.
On the plus side my hair is really soft and manageable and I can get really great second day hair that is easy to comb through after it is wet and than I reapply a little of the FOTE for extra hold.

Today I tried KBB milk as a leave-in ( lima bean sized blob) and my usual layer of AOMM then Jane carter C&S and a mist of my homemade strong hold spray gel after scrunching and I got my CK- like curls back!!!!!! Soft, springy, curly clumps, even curl formation that holds, no frizz! I think the KBB milk- AOMM combo works so well because AOMM gives me the volume I need where KBB- KCCC combo just glues everything together in strings.

Low poo with DevaCare, DevaCurl One condition. Then I rake in SIF, scrunch in Garnier Fructis spray gel, diffuse half way. Once it is dry, I use Tweek to soften up hair and add more volume to the roots. This combo is working really well for me right now. I would like to try different products though. That is one of the fun things about curly hair; Being able to play around with different products

Boots, SMU, and BRHG and

I use a little leave-in w/both of the above combos. I could name off a ton more good things I have been combining, but these are awesome.

I'm so glad it worked for you !!
I started using the KC Spiral Spritz after Kathymack made reference to it as a serum. I had been ready to throw it out - it didn't do anything for me as a curl refresher.
I use it the same way I use Curls Gel-les'c ... as a serum. The way I always used my serums were to put it on my hair last. I don't find you need alot of it either.
I am really hoping that the Spiral Spritz and the Gel-les'c will allow me to use my curl creams & puddings in the summer. I got wicked frizz when I used them last summer ... so far, they are definitely doing the trick.

Another successful combo.
CJ leave-in
CJ Aloe Fix Gel (finger combed through)
Going Ohm Aloe Gel
Curls Gel-les'c
Diffused and Clipped
Komaza Califa Curling Cream to SOTC
No frizz, lots of defined curls and even held up in strong winds. I really like the Califa Curling Cream on dry hair. It scrunches out the crunch and seems to give some extra hold and definition.
