This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

Because I went so long without a trim, now my curls are collarbone-length with less definition. I have tons of frizz now, my ends are disgustingly brittle, and many of the curls in my upper layers are limp and barely curly. I've noticed that ever since my hair grew past chin-length, that my curls aren't as soft, fat, bouncy, and springy, but rather stringy waves, especially in the upper layers. I hope to get back my healthy, soft, fat curls after a haircut and some curly rehabilitating. Hopefully a trim will help get rid some of the extreme dryness my hair is going through. I want to be able to just apply a leave-in conditioner and go, like I used to, like in the picture, the only product I was wearing in my hair in that image was a leave-in conditioner for curly hair. God, I miss the manageability!
