Default How to Get More Volume?

My friend wants lots of volume in her hair like the singer guy Jeffree Starr. She has 2a hair down to her lower back like me but thicker. These are the only things I can think of that can give her more volume without damage:

Side Parts
Mousse
Volumizing Conditioner
Aerosol Hairspray

Does anyone have any other suggestions? TIA!

Komaza HoneyComb treatment! I do not remember the ingredients but Aveda Phomollient is a mousse and gave me good volume. Clip the top ; partially air dry then diffuse upside-down.

Thanks for the suggestions! I totally forgot about hair clips. She's not necessarily looking for curl so I don't think she has a diffuser.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
