Going to the salon today
Just started CG this week, but in desperate need of a trim and color!
I did find the stylist on this site, but if they use non CG products on my hair, what do I need to do when I get home to recover? I don't want to wash out my color with a clarifying shampoo do I?
I can't be the only one who has been in this boat...any advice?

No, you don't need a clarifying shampoo. If you feel you need to wash it, just use a regular low-poo - coco betaine or whatever non-sulfate surfactant(s) it contains will remove any silicones.

Heatherly don't hesitate to tell your new stylist if you're avoiding cones. SPEAK UP don't be shy! He may have some alternatives that are cone-free. Good Luck with the appt. try and post pics we'd love to see

Ok, I'm a little concerned. The Giovanni 50/50 I bought is 50:50 Balanced Hydrating-Clarifying Shampoo. Is this the right stuff?

I think any Giovanni is sulfate-free and can be considered a low-poo
