Proper way to use KCCC & KCKT...

Ok ladies!

I know this has probably been answered a million times, but I can't seem to find a thread.

I was just given some KCCC & KCKT by my guardian angel of hair, pilateschick (much love to her) and I want to make sure that I use it correctly.

From what I can remember KCCC is usually used first and the KCKT afterwards...is this correct?

I know that the KCCC must be used sparingly (at least from what I have been told) but how much of the KCKT?

Thanks in advance for the answers and patience!

KCKT is the leave in. One generally puts that in first. The KCCC would go on top. A lot of us apply it as in mysteryflavored's video:

Jenn here is the latest thread with all kinds of tips. For your first use I suggest you use the KCKT as a leave-in, then KCCC, then BRHG. If it doesn't work right away don't get discouraged. There can be a learning curve to it. Have fun playing

I think the best way to apply the KCCC is different for everyone. The KCKT is definitely first. I use about a quarter size amount raked then scrunched through sopping wet hair. Next I emulsify a finger swipe of the KCCC and scrunch through hair upside down. I do this with about three finger swipes until my hair feels thoroughly coated. After several failed attempts at KCCC application, I found that I can only apply it with dripping wet hair right out of the shower. I know some people have to blot water out first. I tried that with mine and it was a disaster. I think that's why KCCC application is just trial and error at first.
Ahhhh...and this is why I asked! I would have been terribly upset to have done it bass-ackwards!!!

I am so excited to try it tomorrow! Man, how weird is it to actually look forward to waking up? Well, I guess it is another perk of CG...

Thank you all for the valuable info...knew you would'nt leave me hangin'!

Yup I agree! Both of them into soaking wet hair. Although I haven't tried it any other way really. I just got mine last Friday and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the stuff!!! Then I use the Devafuser. Even on a rainy day like today my hair turned out decent!
Vicki - I think I am starting to understand!!! woohoo!!!

Devacare no poo, Once Condish. Rinse upside down cold water.

I used only KCNT, KCCC, and KC Spiral Spritz today and have tons of curls, probably 4 inches of shrinkage. Too bad I can't manage to get a good pic of it.

Hey ladies...sorry for the guano...
Question for you: if I don't have BRHG, can I use HEBE, HETT, or the generic Sally one? Those are my fav gels that I have right now.

Thanks!!!

Loving JC and CK products... Been loving them for 3 years...looking to branch out and try new things!!!
You can pair it with any of those gels I would think. I'd start with the Sally's one but only because I've had no luck with the HE ones.
