Default My hair is REALLY angry!!

While I don't know if it is entirely possible for hair to carry it's own emotion, my hair is definitely in a state of rage the past few days. I did a banana conditioner mask this weekend and boy did my hair get mad! **cut to a picture of Nick Nolte's mug shot** I have done them before and they've always turned out great, but not this time. Not sure what was different, but now on top of the weather change it's just enraged, and I don't know how to please it again. I tried a little bit of protein this morning in my LVPNG rinse out and while it wasn't as frizzy (thanks to the KCCC probably) it feels gross, which leads me to believe I still have a protein sensitivity. I was starting to think my hair was over conditioned as it was super soft, but just looked like a frizzy bush the last few days in a pony tail. I have never had OC hair before so if that is the case, how to I counnteract it?
Oh why can't it just behave .

My hair's mad at me too!

I don't know why but I'm blaming it on the weather. Every day it jumps from cold and dry to warm and raining to cold and raining...

Well, my hair isn't mad at me. But my scalp is definitely not liking me at the moment...I wish I could please it.

No I swore off all proteins for a few months and my hair was doing really well. I had the LVPNG which has a little bit of protein in it so that's what I meant by trying a little bit of protein.

The banana mask is something I read about on the recipes for hair thread and basically consists of a banana and some yogurt and whatever else you want to add. The first time I did it I used organic banana baby food and it turned out pretty good. This time - real banana and oh lordy I won't be doing that again. Chunks galore! Plus it just felt nasty when it dried after rinsing it out. I used banana, honey, AOWC, Coconut oil, and rosemary oil. I have the original recipe for the banana mask that worked better on my fotki. I need to really quit trying to mix things up all the time and just go with what's good.
