Any suggestions on how to relax REALLY curly hair that is maybe 2" long? Before chemo I had naturally curly hair but not like this. This is like a perm. HELP

I was just having this conversation with a friend last week. She went thru chemo a year ago and had really curly hair for the first 6-8 months after. She's gone back to her wavy state now. My MIL went thru it a few years ago and hers only lasted that length of time too.

I've seen a few threads with products people are using for elongating curl which in effect will relax it somewhat. KCCC is the first one that comes to mind. In the Relaxing/Straightening forum there may be some information as well.

Based on what I've seen in others, it will most likely be temporary.
