If I want less elongation and more coil, should I stay away from KCCC?

I see a lot of people recommend Re:Coil for coiling, but are there any products that are 'quat, sulfate, 'cone, drying alcohol, and 'xane free that you can recommend that would give me more coil?

KCCC has a tendency to elongate the tighter curls and shrink the looser curls. I, personally, get shrinkage.

KCCC does elongate my curls, but only if I air dry. Diffusing makes my hair curlier.

KCCC does elongate my curl but also gives me ringlets. I always thought elongation meant a kind of straightening but that's totally not the case with KCCC. Some of my best curls are the product of KCCC.

I think application plays a part in how KCCC works as well. Scrunching it in with no raking gives me less elongated, and more, curl.
