Trader Joe's refresh is only like $2 a bottle.

If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply, Creme of Nature is a good low-poo, and really cheap. It's in the ethnic aisle. Decyl glucoside is the cleansing agent...much gentler than sulfates. I love it!

I also love the Trader Joe's tea tree tingle shampoo (and condish) I used it for the first time today, and it is love. The tea tree one is about $4

The TJ refresh is CG. I dunno about the rest. Here, this is a very helpful website:

Link specifically to the shampoo section:

The Tea Tree Tingle is CG...its nice because it says right on the bottle that there are no sulfates! There are also no silicones, either.
