Smile Co-wash using Baby Johnson's conditioner?

I was looking at the conditioner bottles in my shower and realized I hadn't even thought of cowashing using Baby Johnson's conditioner. I'm wondering if this is CG-friendly and if anyone has had any experience doing this?

The ingredients are:

Water, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Stearyl Alcohol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Benzyl Alcohol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Fragrance, Citric Acid, D&C Yellow No 10 (Cl 47005), D&C Orange No 4 (Cl 15510).

Not many... any of them harsh/non-CG?

Looks okay. You could always try it and see if it works for you. Never tried it, myself. Good luck.

From what I see, all the ingredients listed are CG. The only troubling ingredient is the benzyl alcohol. It is a drying alcohol used as a solvent. I guess you may just need to see how it goes and if it dries your hair out or irritates your scalp. To be honest, I am surprised to find that harsh ingredient in anything marketed for use on babies delicate skin.

I agree the conditioner looks fine for you to use.

When I first started CG, I looked through the baby products to find something to use on my hair also. Johnson's Head to Toe Baby Wash (the one that I used on my newborns) has SLS in it. Oops!! I immediately switched to California Baby for DD and said good-bye to baby exzema and cradle cap.

I don't use anything Johnsons on my baby. I washed her once when she was about 6 weeks with Johnsons baby wash and it's only after that her eczema appeared, might be coincidence but may not. There are lots of rather harsh chemicals in Johnsons and the products are falsely advertised, in my opinion.
