Default need advice..

soooo, I did a JC DT Monday or was it yesterday? it was one of those days. Last night my hair felt weird so I washed it and put a large amount of GDLI as i thought my hair was dying for protein and that is all i had in the house. Today I did a protein treatment with egg, oil and vinegar oh and some coco powder don't ask.... so, i noticed this dry patch under the crown of my hair is BACK again, it had gone away when i was adding moisture (but i did add moisture on monday) the dry patch i speak of looks like i took a clump of hair rub it hard in between my fingers. oh and i used JC condish not the DT one but the daily one.
I'm at a loss. I've been told i need protein but i also need the DT. does anyone have any advice for me?
I've looked all over the site and i just cannot find out what my problem is.

Sorry I can't help you, but I do have a question. When you say that you added moisture, how/what did you do to add the moisture? Sorry if the question is redundant but I'm curious what you mean by that, what kind of product you used.

Ummm, I did the JC DT...isn't that moisture?
any who , I think i might have spoke too soon. I had that ball of frizz, I add some more JC daily condish to it and just styled my hair at that ball of frizz is nearly gone.

WW a protein DT can be followed by a moisture DT to counter act the drying effects. That is the ONLY way I can protein DT my hair. Just wanted to let you know for next time

Thanks. I felt like it was a dumb question, but I see people say "I added moisture" and I just don't know if that means they put water on their hair or some other product. Now I know that you meant you used the dt to add it.
