After six months of straightening my hair most of the time, I've decided to go back to curly, which means it's time to grow out my side-swept bangs. I've been loosely pulling them straight back with bobby pins (pics soon), but I'm looking for a little more variety. I'm sure other people have gone through this, so I'd love to see your ideas or pictures for different ways deal with growing-out bangs.

How long are your side-swept bangs? Maybe they can just turn them into face framing layers instead? Or maybe they will do that on their own, when left curly.

Thanks, CurliLocks. They're still pretty short right now, somewhere between eye- and cheek-length when straight. The problem is that they don't curl nicely because they are so short; they just sort of frizz and spring straight out from my forehead! Once they are a little longer, I hope they will work well as face-framing layers.

What she said! Show us a pic of them down too. My face-framing layers usually start around eye level (dry and curly). Maybe you can curl them around your pinkie to set them. I have to sometimes when they don't cooperate. I clip them back too, when they annoy me.

I will try to let them dry down today and take a picture, but I may not have time. I hadn't thought of helping them along by wrapping them around my pinky - genius!
