Your hair sounds beautiful . If it is dry, have you tried any deep treatments? I am not currently using any storebought treatments, but I've had good results adding oils and/or honey to my usual conditioner and covering my hair with a plastic cap for up to an hour.

Also, you haven't given much detail about your hair routine, how often do you cleanse, do you use shampoo, what conditioners/leave ins, styling products are you using. . . ? This can all be contributing to your dryness, or at least, not helping to eliminate it.

What she said!!

Let us know about your current routine and we'll be able to give way more advice. I don't have corkscrew hair but i've been there as far as frizz and dryness. Deep treatments are great!

Definitely check out the 3C thread, which has wide range of corkscrew participants, and lots of advice.

Dryness can be conquered, I'm here to tell ya'! For me, it's pretty strict CG method. I use shampoo very, very rarely. (Now, that said, I don't subscribe to the don't-ever-comb part of the CG method. I comb through my hair each and every day, loaded down with conditioner, otherwise the tangles would overtake me.) Anyway, conditioner is key. If your hair is feeling exceedingly dry, then maybe your conditioner isn't moisturizing enough.

I do wet my hair pretty much every day, because there isn't really any way for me to sleep on my hair without getting it pretty mussed. This might change as it grows longer, but I kinda doubt it.
