Default Observations after a month....

since I started this whole CG thing. Overall, I think I'm a bit wiser when it comes to hair care. I still am not happy with my frizz at all. I still get good clumps, never had a problem with that. Hair still pretty shiny, and scalp problems have pretty much cleared right up.

I have noticed that in the back of my head I've developed 3 clumps of corkscrew curls. I've never had corkscrew curls.. always big loose 3a's to 2c S shaped waves but never corkscrews. Wonder if this is the beginning of new curl formation or just a temporary thing.

Anyhow, just thought I'd share, cuz you guys "get it" and other folks are tired of my "hair talk" heh.

Have any of you gotten such changes to your hair?

I'm also pretty new at it, but I noticed spiral curls for the first time in my life. That was exciting! I've had a few really good hair days and some awful ones - need to do more experimenting. Isn't it great we have a site where we can obsess about our hair (LOL)? Glad you are on board - hope it works out well for you.

I changed from a winter wavy/summer curly to hair like my signature picture all of the time.

I went from a 2b pattern to a 3a spiral depending on products/technique used. Happy that you're noticing a difference.

Trying CG or mod CG brought my hair back to the 3a/b curls of my childhood.

I'm almost at the two month mark and I went from curls that were super tight and curled up into themselves to some pretty nice 3b spirals. Before they were so tight they curled up kinda like a snail shell (best description I could come up with). It was ridiculous and very frizzy on top of that. It's still frizzy but in a different way and the curls actually spiral now. I think I was sooo dried out that my hair just didn't know what to do!

I only started CG this weekend so I'm not sure if this counts LOL. However, about 2 years ago I had good, corkscrew-y curls. I had surgery about a year ago and due to the anesthesia, I had a LOT of hair loss. Like, I couldn't even keep a hair tie in my hair when I used to be able to put it around ONCE and have it stay. Needless to say I was sad and had it whacked off into a chin length bob which I then flat ironed every day. Dumb, I know, but I didn't know how else to deal with it at the time. Now that it's summer again and FL is not condusive to flat ironing, I started looking for help hence how I found this site. My hair when I wore it curly was just limp, frizzy with ill-defines s-waves and little curl even with gel. I was a cone addict.

Two CG showers, much label reading, and a lesson in plopping later, and my hair looks amazing. The corkscrews are back. My hubby prefers straight hair but oh well...it was starting to smell terrible after the ironing, lol. I love the difference already and can't wait to fine-tune with new products. Yay!

I sooo know what you mean about everyone being tired of "hair talk"! I didnt know I was so bad until the weekend when my SO was telling someone that his life now consisted of hearing about my hair! Haha! Whoops!

Im coming up to 2 months now i think. My hair is definately curlier and healthier, but I stil have a long way to go til I know what my hair likes and doesnt like enough for it to be consistant I think. I keep thinking I should stop experimenting and jsut stick to something that I know works... but then what if I miss something better??

I think the issue with "hair talk" all the time is because we've all been taught that shampoo is necessary, and that now we know it is not and are going without the results are SO amazing.

It's a great big secret what your hair is really like, sometimes after a lifetime of thinking it was straight, so of course people will talk about it. Heck, I keep trying to convince co-workers to do it too, but there is resistance. I'll wear them down.

There's a lot of obsessions we all have to put up with from the ones we love/work with, and frankly how great our hair looks is MUCH more interesting than the latest World of Warcraft world or how Bobby made the extramural travel elite baseball team for 7-9 year olds.

As for what I've noticed, when I told a coworker I no-poo she said she had noticed my hair had been looking really good lately, very curly and soft. I was very fist-pump after that

My husband and son bought play WOW so there's a lot of WOW and curly talk at the dinner table. More WOW, though.
