ck was my first hg, then kccc....

now cj. But I have to use ck under everything still for frizz control. My question is, do I need to use the ck because my hair is not healthy enough yet, or moisturised enough? Is the ck just covering up the condition of my hair?
Or should I just chill and enjoy my good hair days.
Well I've been CG for almost 2 yrs and I still use CK almost every day for multi-day hair. I no longer need it on Day 1 hair but subsequent days I still need to use it consistently to prevent frizz.

I doubt I have any problems with the condition of my hair at this point.

What a great question Bigredapmi, I've thought about that myself. What is your rountine when using CK, do you use a leave-in first and then CK....
I've been using CK ever since I started three months ago and I wonder if it will always be a part of my routine.
I have been using CK for about 5 years and have been CG for about the same amount of time. I have trie giving it up from time to time and tried drug store alternatives and always come back to it. Needing CK isn't a sign that your hair is still in bad condition, its just a great product, IMO. As you go through your CG journey you may find that you need to cleanse less often or need to wet and condition your hair less often or need to alter your conditioning needs, but "needing" CK is fine as its not part of the healing process.

IMO, it just means that you hair likes CK. It doesn't have ingredients that will mask hair condition the way some of the more stubborn cones or chronic mineral oil use would do.
Kiva! Microfinance works.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.
