Anyone want to hair (pun) a funny....

I could not find my nighttime bonnet. It's been missing for over a month. I was looking for black undies this morning (that drawer is a jumble) and thought I found some on the bottom. Well, someone folded a load of clean laundry and put stuff away last month...guess where they put my bonnet? Yep, you got it. I sure didn't remember black panties with a grey waistband...not to mention no holes for my legs! :joker:

LMAO - I think you could start a fashion!

Oh wait, it's already been done...

Note the pile of sparkly white at the top. :D It's what all the girls wear for Irish dance, LOL!!! It's awful. But next time a girl can't find her bloomers, we'll go grab a wash bonnet at Sally's and call it good! :D

ETA: OOOOOOOOHHH! These gold ones are even better, LOL!!

Girl, you have NO idea: http://www.dance.net/topic/7379554/1...Reactions.html and WORSE: http://www.dance-again.com/dresses5-8-10.html

But since this is a hair website, I should probably stick to hair, LOL! Um... did you guess those are all WIGS?! I'm eventually hoping to do it without a wig, but we'll see.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread!!!

There's no wrong post on a thread meant to be silly. You can type/say whatever you want. Very interesting color combos.

Let him laugh, he'll get used to it or always be in a good mood when he sees it. Put it on if you're disagreeing and see if he can keep a straight face? :)

My husband learned a long, long time ago that anything that gives me better hairdays is a good thing. Don't wear it during the "DEED" but any other time should be ok.

He just laughs every time. He is sooooooo understanding about all of my hair stuff except the bonnet. It's alright, my satin pillowcase works fine. I just hate to not use something I bought. He's about to do some out of town work though so I'm saving it for then. I'll probably have the best hair of my life while he's gone :)

But "deed" ultimately ruins my hair. I need all protection I can get!

Seriously speaking, I was so impressed with a cheapo Sally's bonnet, that I caved and got myself another one - from real silk. Going to test it tonight.

Where did you find a silk one?? PJs everywhere need to know!

I just bought my bonnet yesterday -- purple satin with gray band. But it seems kinda small when I try to stuff all my hair in there! Any tricks, ladies, for actually getting it on your head without totally mashing up your hair and defeating the whole purpose?

Not only that -- OMG, I look like a cross between an Archbishop and a Martian with that thing on my head, it's hilarious! My head is big vertical shiny purple POOF! I can see why SOs everywhere are laughing at us. Seriously -- I look much goofier than this :smurfin: or this :brilsmurf:

And ReddishRocks -- those little girls with the makeup and giant wigs scare me! :confused1:

Here you go: http://www.tenderheaded.com/sislbo.html

Originally I got the same bonnet as yours, purple with a gray band. Silk one is much bigger; or so it seems 'cause the fabric is not stiff at all. I bend forward, gather my hair as if for a pineapple and just tuck it into bonnet.

Awww, thank you, Jess :) I took my avatar pic after trying skip curl. Did not work as it was supposed to, but I like the results just the same :)

Hey, hey, what's with the Texas remarks?
Is it because EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas? I'll take that.
LOL
