does Olive oil strip hair color?

I love how olive oil conditions my hair but I recently read experiences from a few women who used OO that it striped their hair color, specifically, one wrote that she had permanent lowlights and they were lighted and had to be redone.

This terrifies me because I recently paid alot of money for lowlights and would be very angry if I accidently lightened them. I have only been using OO for a week now.

any experiences?

I have read about people using heated olive oil in the first few days after coloring to intentionally strip color results gone wrong, so I suppose that it is possible, at least early on. I'm not sure about after the first few days.
