I graduate tomorrow. And, I just got the last appointment for an 'Updo' at a salon in my town. I recently had my hair cut there, and the styling sucked majorly. It also doesn't help that I don't have a definate style. I was thinking half up, because EVERYONE is doing a full updo. But, Straight? Natural? Curlers?
I'd love some of your opinions. Other styling ideas are great too!

The weather, for starters, is a major factor. There's 60% chance of thunderstorms, rain being close to 1mm, with 72% humidity. It'll be around 22* C. Mild wind.

I've set up a poll with different types of hair.

Ah, there are no caps or gowns being used in the ceremony, and my dress is formal and floor length.

hey congrats! I just graduated 2 weeks ago too...I just wore my hair straight cause I figured the hat would ruin it otherwise lol...ppl at mine weren't overly dressed up so I dunno why you would want to do an updo...but maybe it's more dressy where you're from...

It's Grade Eight Grad, sadly. Everyone makes a fuss over something that nots totally a big deal. But it's fun, getting dolled up for the evening. :P

i think that you should go naturally curly! I wore my hair straight for my High School Graduation and it was the biggest mistake- it was very humid and it was a frizzy mess- if i had worn it curly then i would have had beautiful hair. You wil be miserable if you hair goes crazy from humidity. When i graduated from college i wore my hair curly, it was humid and hot and my hair looked great and i had a great time. And i want to say this- if EVERYONE is going to have an updo then i would have beautiful free naturally curly hair. Just cause ya can!

I voted naturally curly as well. If most other people are getting their hair done, they will have either straight hair or 'curling iron' curls. You'll stand out with your own pretty curls.

I was ironing my hair at your age and sleeping on beer cans. still the hair would frizz. use your best product routine the night before, sleep in pineapple and go curly and proud!! as the old song goes--

Nope, no caps or gowns. We wore them for pictures, and that was it.

I went with curling iron curls, mainly because the lady who did my hair when it was in it's natural state did an awful job. It was stringy and huge.

Today it's sunny out, which is actually quite different from the weather reports.
