How long before I see results??

So I've been having an ongoing struggle with my hair being very stiff, frizzy, and not curling well. I've tried lots of different products with no results. So for the past month I have simplified things and I've only been using cond. and gel. But the results are basically the same.

My question is, how long should I keep trying the same routine before I move on to something new?

Right now I am using Garnier Sleek & Shine cond. and Aussie Instant Freeze Gel everyday. And I do a weekly dt. Should I keep up that routine or try something totally new?
I have med/coarse 3a/b curls with low porosity and normal elasticity. Thank you Live Curly Live Free!!

Try something new! Does Garnier have 'cones?
Condish Faves: GVP Condish Balm, GDLI, GTTTT
HG Stylers as of NOW: DMCCB, CJ CCCC, Boots, Re:Coil, SMU, BRHG
ABSOLUTE FAVES: KCP, CJ AF
The Garnier and Aussie probably have cones, so you need a sulfate shampoo to remove buildup. For true CG it can take 4 - 6 weeks for your scalp and hair to adjust, and then it takes lots of experimenting to find the right products and techniques for your hair.
2C wavy with some spirals. CG since April 07. Medium texture and porosity.
COs: Yes to Cucumbers

Might I suggest a combo using stuff you already have, except for gel: GVPCB for your rinse-out, a bit of KCKT if you need it, KCCC combed or Denman brushed thru so all your hair's well coated - regardless of how much or how little you use (I don't use too much myself), all topped off with BRHG or LA Looks Sports or Durahold Gel, if you prefer a cheaper gel, also combed thru to be sure all your hair's coated and sealed with it.

You might also try adding FOTE AVG before your leave in - it helps mine curl better and helps with frizz, besides adding some additional weightless moisture.

ETA: my hair has always, even before CG, just done better if I switch things up a bit and don't use exactly the same things day after day. However, the above combo, except with KBB hair milk as my leave-in, is pretty much my fall-back, seldom-fail combo.
2C/3A/3B - modified CG - med./fine, normal/low porosity/normal elasticity

Current Main Rotation: MG217 medicated or Aim2Health 'poos for scalp, YTCarrots or Elucence cond., Spiral Solutions Protein & Deeply Decadent Cond., CJCCCC reg or lite, KCCC, Giovanni LA Hold Hair Spritz + lots more, sporadically

HG Method: Super Soaker + Smasters-ing, brief upside down diffusing w/360o diffuser then clips/clamps & air dry. Newly gray - stopped my henna glosses!

When the seasons change, I often have to change my routine. I have been going CG (not all the way there yet) for about 3 wks., and I am seeing some results. My hair is softer, smoother and WAY less frizzy. I am doing fine with the products I have now, but I am still looking for something better...trial and error.
I;m three and and get frizz also...Olive oil takes care of that. I put a bit throughout my hair after i shower and by the time my hair dries my curls are frizz free.

olive oil is my life saver.
