Default I will be getting a haircut from John *UPDATE* After pics

On July 24th, I will be getting my first curly cut ever from John at Fringe salon. I am ecstatic!!! I was thinking about going with something completely different and extreme. However, I realized then that I will be driving to another state just to see him, so I need a very low maintenance cut. I think I am just going to have an overall trim and shape done so it will look better as its growing out.

Yay! You're finally getting to go?! I know it's going to look great. Maybe he can come up with something edgy and easy to grow out? I'll be on vacation then, so have fun and good luck! I'll have to search for this thread when I return in August to see how it comes out. Take lots of pics!

it is exciting to have a hair appointment with someone who's gotten rave reviews!!!
don't think of it as crossing a state line, just think of it as travel time -- how long of a trip?
maybe he'll have some ideas that will be good as it grows in?? ask.
have fun!

BTW, your hair is gorgeous. *drool*

Aw, thanks! I am just going to have a trim and shape I have decided. I have one side that is longer than the other so I will be happy to have that fixed!

I am trying to go out my hair, but in try 3a form my hair is just getting curlier as it grows.

Damn, woman -- your hair is perfect already! I may not look at your after pics, because I'll be consumed by hair envy! Good luck and have fun.

That's second day hair...that you consider messy and "just got out of the barn"? I'd take hair half as good looking for my first day "going on a night out."

Quit inspiring such envy. : )

I think you have such pretty curls now. I want to know how everyone gets all that shine! It sounds like you'll have a fabulous time getting your cut, and I can't wait to see what you get done.

I think it's great as is! But if you wanted to do something different, I think it would look pretty longer - so that your front pieces are shoulder-length or few inches below.

You could also do an asymmetrical cut: cut at an angle so that it's longer in the front, and shorter in the back, and slopes downward on the sides. You'd probably have to wait until it was longer for it to work, however.

My shine was from the Komaza coconut pudding, plus we had great weather yesterday.
