Dew Point 70 --Call me frizz ball!

It seems like no matter what styling products i use, I turn out to be a frizz ball. I've been alternating between PJ Smoothing Gellie w/ BRHG on top and Jessie Curl CCSS & RR w/ BRHG on top and by the time afternoon arrives, I have dull frizzy curls with lots of surface frizz. My wash routine is I cowash everyday and alternate between Suave Coconut, PJ Daily Conditioner and Deva One C, and shampoo with a no poo wash once a week. Could I be over conditioned?? I tried an AVG rinse but it didnít help. Iím frustrated!

I have long thick 3a/b hair so I use about 7-8 puddles then squish my hair upside down all over and wait a coupla minutes berfore putting the rest of the stuff in.

Do you think you might need to do a good DT? Usually when I have frizz like that I need moisture. Plus the mag. sulfate in CCSS & RR can be very drying and cause frizz. HTH
I have med/coarse 3a/b curls with low porosity and normal elasticity. Thank you Live Curly Live Free!!

Basically CG since '06

Protein is my enemy

Mag. Sulfate gives me serious frizz

Loving: JCWDT, KCKT & KCCC

Have you tried a protein treatment? And yes, you could be overconditioning.

I live in Fla and can't get any higher dewpoint than here. Here's what worked for me yesterday:
Wash w/shampoo bar
Condition with Kenra (protein) -- leave on about 3 min.
Rinse
Pour 64 oz water, 2 T Honey, 2 T Apple cider vinegar through hair - rinse out with cool water
Apply diluted CK
Apply Homemade Flax Seed Gel
Blot w/ microfiber towel
Difusse until only damp
Apply a couple of fingers full rubbed into my hands of KCCC -- diffuse a little more.

I woke up today and only had to re-spray with diluted CK.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

How long does the 33 oz. bottle of Curl Keeper last? I've been thinking about buying it but it's pricey.
"...just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face." ~Harry Dresden

The 33 oz bottle of CK lasts me about 8 wks or so.
I have thick past BSL hair when its dry. I am afraid to go without it cuz living in SFL the dews and humidity are always so darn high and I have been using it for the last 8 mos with minimal frizz.

I dilute 4 oz. of Walmart's equate (their version of KY jelly) with 4 oz of water, then dilute it a little further and put in a spray bottle. That, homemade FSG (with additions) and a teeny little KCCC gave me the greatest hair and 2nd day also. The second day -- I drove in my convertible with the top down 160 miles and came home and it was still do-able as far as the style went.
