Style with "natural" things....

Honey, different type of oils, shea butter...

Anyone? Would be interesting to hear if anyone else tried this and the results..

I am just trying to find something that would work for someone with as many allergies as I have..

Homemade flax seed gel is great. You can add tons of natural stuff to it. There are tons of recipes on the hair recipe board. Plus there are tons of natural companies out there. Check out Komaza, Curl Junkie, and Kinky Curly just to name a few.

Egg whites have awsome hold! Only thing is, I can't SOTC and it makes your hair feel rock hard.

Oyin Handmade Greg Juice or Juices and Berries
Stylers: Botticelli Botanicals Styling Mudd, KCCC, Honey Rinses and BRHG, Crack Leave-in Hair Cream when straightening

yup. EGG WHITES! lol. i never tried it with a leave in or anything, but i wonder if that will allow for SOTC. when my hair was long, i used one egg. usually, i would just run the egg under warm water so that the white would be a bit runny, or just leave the egg out of the fridge. i would prick a little bit of the shell off so that i could 'drain' the egg. the white comes right out. then i would just put it in my hair. didnt feel great at first. but it is natural and it did work for hold. again, EXTREME hold. but when i was younger, i use to like that hard look. plus, hair looks very glossy. also, make sure you look in the mirror before you leave if using it. if it gets on your skin (forehead, neck, etc), you will have white crusty stuff! so keep a damp cloth!

Egg whites are pretty extreme. I used to help my ex-roommate with her mohawk and we would use egg whites. =)

Honey has great hold and it only takes very little to become much too much for me. When that happens I have to rinse it out completely because I can't SOTC.

I use shea butter. I scrunch in a VERY small amount immediately after my final rinse. It tames the frizz, makes my hair soft, and helps prevent split ends.

note: and I do mean a small amount. My hair is to my tailbone and thick and I use about a dime-sized amount.

I think I'm gonna pass on the egg whites and stick with the BRHG
As for natural products, I do strongly suggest Curl Junkie. The ingredients are on the website so if you'll know before ordering if you'll have a problem with it HTH
