Back to School 911 Emergency! HELP!
Hey, I need hairstyle and product recs too! I have brown, fine, 3b/3c SL hair with high porosity and lotsa frizz! I will be a freshman this year, and I'm gonna need some ideas ASAP because I start school in TWO WEEKS! (year-round schedual) My hair is in super danger right now, because, a few days ago, i took a shower in my mom's bathroom and noticed that she didn't have the sulfate-free shampoo that i liked, so i used some garnier stuff thinking, 'well, i probably need to clarify anyway and i don't see any cones on the ingredients list, so what's the worst that could happen?'. I then proceded to apply *gasp* SILICONE ANTI-FRIZZ SERUM! The next day, i returned to my mod-cg routine as usual when I noticed how DAMAGED MY HAIR HAD BECOME! IT'S NOW DRY, SUPER FRIZZY, AND SPLIT DOWN TO THE ROOT! Now, that I think about it, it resembles the condition it was in before I went cg. So, now I'm gonna start the cg method all over, clarify with a clarifying shampoo first and then NEVER USE ANY SULFATES OR SILICONES AGAIN, NOT EVEN THE WATER SOLUABLE 'CONES! So, now I'm gonna have to get products in my price range.
Which ones are best? I was thinking:
Clarifying Shampoo: White Rain Clarifying Water Blossom Shampoo
Co-Wash: White Rain Conditioner or
Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut Conditioner
ROC: GVP Conditioning Balm or
Garnier Fructis Fortifying Conditioner, Body Boost
Low-Poo: Samy e-sen-cia Hydrating Shampoo
DT: Elasta QP Intense Fortifying Hair conditioner,
Wella In-Depth treatment, or
BioInfusion Professional Hydrating Conditioning Balm
Mousse: Herbal Essences Set Me Up Mousse, or
Aussie Instant Freeze Mousse
Gel: got2b Spiked Up Styling Gel- Max Control,
Herbal Essences Set Me Up Gel, or
Garnier Fructis Style Super Stiff Gel, Ultra Strong
Spray Gel/Curl Refresher: Herbal Essences Shimmery NightsShimmer Spray Gel,
Garnier Fructis Style Curl Shaping Spray Gel,
Herbal Essences Set Me Up Spray Gel, or
Loreal Vive Pro Glossy Style Glossy Curls Spray Gel
All of these products are sulfate and cone free and are $8 or less. I want my all my styling products to have as much hold possible. (Except MAYBE the SPRAY gel) CRUNCHY AND HARD IS GOOD! what would you reccomnd?
