Cyclomethicone--is it a bad one?

Hi everyone--
I was PJ-ing at Ulta today, picked up some Abba Pure Style gel, and also got some of their Pure Curl conditioner, assuming they would be CG. Got home and read the labels more carefully, and sure enough, cyclomethicone is fairly high up in the list in the conditioner. Does anyone know if this is a water soluble cone? I searched it on the web and it doesn't say anything about solubility.
Also, if a product has more than one Peg-cone in it, would that be a negative? I looked at the Abba gel and it has 2 Peg-dimethicones, Peg/PPG 17-18 and Peg-12.
Last question--has anyone ever tried Abba's Pure Curl prep spray? It looks totally CG, but just wondering...
Thanks for the help!

Here's an article that has information about removing cones:

I use the ABBA Gelsential which is now the Pure Style Gel and like it--nice medium hold gel that helps with volume.

Thanks so much, Kathy! Very helpful link to keep on file. I am going to return the conditioner and curl spray, but will keep and try the gel--thanks for the recommendation!
