Which works better?

All natural products or products with some/all synthetic materials? I am considering only using all natural products and I am wondering if that method works for other curlies? I have to admit, I am starting to get a little frustrated here.

I like to say that I use the more natural products. Most have little synthetic ingredients. Lines like, CJ, Komaza, Donna Marie, Kinky Curly, etc. My gels have more synthetic ingredients then the rest of my products.

I really think it depends on how ingredients interact with your hair type. I have a lot of luck with more synthetic products, but my hair also reacts well to KCKT and KCCC. I don't like how KBB leave-ins (very natural stuff) work in my hair - not because they're natural, but because I don't like the way my hair separates when exposed to those particular oils.

I ran across this article that you might also find interesting: http://www.ivillage.com/green/fashio...cnmmn8,00.html :)

I prefer more 'natural' products, 100%!
My hair has improved sooo much since going natural.
I use Aubrey Organic Conditioners And Curl Junkie products and I have some Kinky Curly on the way. I also LOVE Sister smith's Wetset hair pudding. My hair just really likes natural stuff. It has also grown a lot since I went all natural.
Only thing now is that I'm looking for a natural gel which isn't KCCC. The drying time is just siiiillllly with that for me :happy6:
