KCCC

Yes, but CJAFG is full of glycerin while KCCC has none - they don't compare. Doesn't matter to some but a great deal to others - and to almost all in winter.
2C/3A/3B - modified CG - med./fine, normal/low porosity/normal elasticity

Current Main Rotation: MG217 medicated or Aim2Health 'poos for scalp, YTCarrots or Elucence cond., Spiral Solutions Protein & Deeply Decadent Cond., CJCCCC reg or lite, KCCC, Giovanni LA Hold Hair Spritz + lots more, sporadically

CJAFG frizzed me up big time and poofed up the volume, no comparison for me but I have fine hair, a lot of it and I live in Florida. Nothing comes close to KCCC except FSG and someting on top, for me.
I just purchased my KCCC in WF for 26.00 in May. I don't think I like it enough to pay $33. I find Pink Boots works a lot better on my hair and I just got 5 tubs and all it cost me was an $18 lunch. This should last me forever.

I had a girlfriend bring it back from London. I got lucky that I knew someone who was over there working. You can get it at www.britsuperstore.com but the shipping and handling is a little pricey.

Well dang, I was gonna buy some of this just to see if I liked it (I tried it 9 mos. ago and hated it), but for $33? Nope. Don't think so.
Medium texture, normal-high porosity, wavy-curly 2c to 3a-ish hair that is MOISTURE HUNGRY!!!
Currently recovering from a protein hair crisis. My hair hates protein, apparently.

I still have an almost full jar. I have not mastered the art of application of this one. I still can not get it right. Either I am using too much or too little?? Hair looks coated and stringy with sss curls. I tried diffusing a little to perk up the curls still no good. Any advice??

according to my math KCCC is sill cheaper than mop-c or recoil

MOP-C $16 for 5 oz $3.20 per oz
Recoil $18 for 6 oz $3.00 per oz
KCCC $33 for 16 oz $2.06 per oz

Plus I use a lot less KCCC than Mop-C. I just tried MOP-C again las week and it was definitely blah for me compared to KCCC. And I can't handle the salts in recoil.

I love KCCC and will pay 33 gladly! But if it doesn't wow you, it sure wouldn't be worth anything!

too much glycerin and some oils give me stringlets

My CG Journey:

I don't know about Mop, but you can't really compare Re:Coil and KCCC because most use such different amounts of it. I use much less KCCC than most, yet I use even less of Re:Coil when I use it: One light 3-finger dip into KCCC vs. about a pea-size quirt of Re:Coil. Many use a LOT more KCCC than that at a time.

I use a lot of KCCC and it works great, but I haven't tried anything else to compare. I hear that most use a lot less Mop-C than KCCC.

I just bought 16oz from naimies.com a month ago for $26, if it goes up all around I don't think that I could afford it. http://www.naimies.com/search.php?mode=search&page=1

There's a listing on eBay for a full jar plus a brand new bottle of Knot Today for $27. That's the current auction price though, and there's still a day left. Who knows what it will go up to?

I just bought some the other day. I think before it was $28 or something, this time it was $30.

But you get a lot of product in that tub. The price still seems reasonable to me. When I was experimenting, I went through a lot, but now that I know how to use it, I bet the tub lasts me 3 months at the very least.

I do see how if you were using it every day it would add up and be prohibitive. But I only use it 1-2x a week.
Wow! I gave $26 for mine.

You know, I bet if they came out with smaller jars for lesser prices, people would be a lot more open to the price. I would at least.
