I used a little Afrodetangler, maybe a nickle size, on the ends followed by raking in some Ohm SHP. Then I did the Super Soaker Method (btw Rudee you should rename this thread that IMHO) and finished with Lush's The Big Tease gel. It was amazingly beautiful. It was my first time using the Lush though...I might be in love

here's to dew points I used CK & my honey rinse had a fab day and didn't touch my diffuser!
I know I'm a freak though......
Jess that's awesome that it's working for you, I had a feeling you were experimenting, reading and being methodical

Please vote - Change the Name of the Thread to Super Soaker or leave it as is? What do you think would be better for thread search purposes?

I VOTE FOR SUPER SOAKER!!
Still have not got my denman brush. Tried with wide tooth comb and finger combing. Making quite a mess in the bathroom. SO thinks I'm certainly certifiable. Getting decent results but I think the denman is the trick. Get paid on Friday!!
Going to Sally's for the denman. Will take pics to post.

Donna, I can tell you from brushing last summer, that fine tooth comb gives far better clumps than a wide tooth. Do you have a fine tooth comb in the house?

Oh how you know me . I was TOTALLY reading this thread every day waiting for it to work.
I can see all the reasons it's not working for you though. At my length a year ago, maybe even 6 months ago, I never could have used it. It would have pulled all my waves out. Don't you hate when something works for everyone and not you

Another vote for Super Soaker! Would definitely be easier to find when searching.

Another one here for super soaker.
Even though I have no idea if it's really working for me or not - takes soo long for my hair to dry, and I have yet to find any kind of stuff to put all through my hair that doesn't completely drag out what little curl I have.
I just soak good, scrunch it, then spray/scrunch with the Hask stuff (Instant curls? Can't recall the exact name)

I tried this today in the shower. I was totally surprised how well this works. No stringy hair today. I got nice big clumps. I am typically a 2c and I had alot of 3a curls as well. This will be my new routine from now on.

My hair is usually pretty clumpy, but this really did help with my clump factor today. Wonder how I can translate this into a salon environment to experiment without flooding the place out?

lol. Give it a fancy name like "Hair-Hydro Therapy". Then you can charge double for it - twice the clumps at twice the price!
