Default Forgot About Olive Oil

I haven't used olive oil for a year or longer. So, after I washed my hair today I saw the bottle of olive oil left out from lunch on the counter and decided to use it overtop of the Frizz-Ease Down Play; I raked in a couple drops. And wow! I completely forgot I get some 3a curls when I use olive oil!! I didn't even use gel in my hair or scrunch it or anything; in fact, i combed it when it was still wet to get the knots/tangles out.

I just wish my whole head was 3a curls, the sides and back are wavy...2-3" waves I think.

Congrats! I'm glad it worked nicely for you! If you're looking for more curl, have you tried curl cremes?

Thanks, I've never found a curl cream that doesn't have protein and silicones in it; so no, I've never tried it. Let alone not having sodium's and polyq's.

Oh that's a shame. CJ CCCC has protein pretty far down on the list and I know that pink boots is 'cone free and doesn't contain protein. It does contain a polyquat, but it's poly-quat 10 so it doesn't cause build-up. You could try it?
