Pomade

I'm not sure what pomade is used for, but I was thinking about using it to SOTC. I'm hoping it will help give me more hold. I'm not sure how to use it or how much to use. What you you guys think?

I'm getting my KCGP on saturday and I thought I'd use it to SOTC and tame fly-aways. I think it will give a natural hold also. I've been told a little goes a long way

If you use too much, your hair could end up looking greasy. HTH

I can never figure out pomade. I am using Bioterra Curl Cream to SOTC. It is working well so far. I light spritz with a conditioner/water mix and then scrunch this in. If someone has a good pomade (preferably from Sally's) I'd love to try it.

Okay so pomade is a type of wax, when I've tried it before the first day amazing hair not big no frizz and this was before cg. However the second day my hair looked dirty, felt gross, and my curls were limp and de-pleated. For a 1 day thing i'd use it again but only for special occasions.

It really depends on the pomade. There is a wide range of pomades out there. Some are creams some are more gel like. Some have hold and some dont. Some have wax some are water based. Personally I think pomades work best for enhancing curl more like a curl cream. I always use a gel over them for hold.

The gel type pomades have the best hold I havent found a cream pomade yet without wax that has any hold. I need to find something as well to sotc and retain hold. I have great curls until I sotc.

The KCGP contains no wax just oils, so I'll report back on how that one works out
