Using conditioner or leave-in on dry hair for second day hair...
Could that work?
|
I have done it and I really liked it. It got rid of the frizz but I did have to SOTC a bit.
|
I was thinking of doing this on days when I don't have time to wet my hair and wait for it to dry.
|
I do this too and I really like it. Makes my curls more defined. I use a bit of my leave-in.
Also, I have been sort of wetting my 2nd day hair with my hands, just to smooth it out a bit and finger curl some frizzy blah areas and then I use a dime-size drop of AOMM. It works like a serum in this case in that it smooths my hair out and makes it shiny. HTH! |
I didn't think about using conditioner. I usually use a spray bottle with a mix of water and conditioner to lightly spritz my hair and then scrunch in some Bioterra Curl Cream. I may try the conditioner though...thanks for the tip.

I've been scrunhing in just a little (1/2 tsp) on dry 2nd day hair of any of these (or 2 mixed together), no water added:
Afroveda Moringa Leavein Devacurl Set It Free Hairveda Whipped Cream Qhemet Burdock Root butter cream Curl Junkie Aloe Fix (ends only) Qhemet Honeybush Tea hair gel (ends only) I also tried a sample of Phyto 7 the same way and I really loved what it did for my dry hair. I've tried using plain conditioners, the kind I use on wet hair, but they don't work. |
I tried a product on my hair today by Goldwell called Curl Definition Revive Cream Intense which worked pretty well. Have any of you tried this product?
