What to do

I am scheduling an appointment for a haircut either August 5th or August 12th.
Do I style my hair as usual?
I am really nervous as I haven't had a salon cut in a really long time.
Cleanser: Liquid Castile Soap diluted in a foaming soap dispenser
Rinse:
ACV rinse
Detangler/Conditioner:
Oyin Handmade Greg Juice or Juices and Berries
Stylers: Botticelli Botanicals Styling Mudd, KCCC, Honey Rinses and BRHG, Crack Leave-in Hair Cream when straightening

Tools: Silk pillowcase, Floursack towels, Jersey T-Shirts, Wide Tooth Comb, Velecta Paramount TGR-VQX Hair Dryer (for when I straighten) and BaByliss PRO Ionic Rollabout Hard Hat Dryer
I just had my hair cut yesterday and I wore it curly to the salon. (By the way this is my 2nd week CG). I wanted to show my stylist what my current cut was doing to my curls so that she would have a better idea how to cut it.
Alas, I got shampooed before my stylist got to look at my hair. Such is life.
Also, last summer I had a curly cut where they made the front longer than the back. I didn't like it. Just know what you want before you go in so that they don't talk you into something you don't want.
By the way, I'm not trying to talk you out of getting your hair cut with the front longer than the back; I think it's pretty common to cut curly hair that way, actually.
2c-3a. Thick density. Texture = mixture of medium and fine.

Always trying to boost my curl!

Go-to products: Pink Boots, CJSG, LALSG, Abba Pure Finish gel
Experimenting with: CJAF, CJ CCCC, JCRR/CC, BRHG, PB Goo, Re:Coil, Komaza CHP, EcoStyler Protein
Didn't like: HESMU, Matrix Biolage Gelee (both too goopy)

Don't worry about me being talked into anything. I am pretty stubborn when it comes to something like this.
I want my hair cut to just above my shoulders, possibly brushing them, with layers and sideswept bangs.

Make sure you go in with how you wear it everyday!

Good luck!

I'm going in on the 4th for my first cut in a long time too, and I was wondering this exact thing! I'm going to style it the way I usually do so that I can show her what I do and don't like about the current style. I think it'll be easier that way.

fine texture, med porosity

Co-wash:
GTTT, Live Clean, EO Sweet Orange
Condish: Calia, AO Rosa Mosqueta/White Camellia/Honeysuckle Rose/Island Naturals/GPB, ABBA Pure Gentle, Desert Essence Shea Butter

Gels: Homemade FSG!!!, Druide, BRHG, Alba Soft Hold Style Cream,
AOMM

experimenting with: honey, agave, oils, butters, ACV, Curls Milkshake, more conditioners

Uhh...I just realized that the Deva products are not protein free. I am pretty sure I am protein sensitive because after I cut that out my hair looked sooo much better. Not fluffy or "swollen up" or undefined and frizzy.
I'm guessing she will be using the Deva products since she is Deva certified.
Should I call and ask if she has anything protein free or ask if I can bring my own stuff?
