Default What hair texture is will not curl until its longer?

i just big chopped my stylist said my hair is wavy and will not curl until it is longer. i have no idea what hair texture i have now. so what texture could this be or curl type/pattern?

Most 2s and 3a's won't see their fuller curl potential until their hair gets longer.

3b and up is curlier when short and stretches out when it gets longer.

Your stylist is correct - you're a wavy. Wavies won't see much wave/curl the shorter the haircut and vice versa.
