Are you sure you where pineappling right? Because pinaeppling works wonders for me... well, you can always try the satin sleep bonnets, you can get them from Sally's Beauty Supply.

Surprisingly, it doesn't! Well, maybe that's because I use scrunchies.

if i don't feel like pineappling, then i'll wet my hair a bit-- not so it's soaking wet, just a slight dampness-- then i'll loosely braid my hair.
ohh, and it works a lot better if you sleep on a satin pillowcase!!(:

I never thought of buying a Satin sleepcap; I will definitely have to try it! My hair is very short, so I can't even get it into a ponytail, let alone pineapple it! I'd do anything to get second day hair. I've been having to shower and style it everyday!

I have a silk scarf which I got at TJ Maxx for about 10$ or so. I fold it diagonally and tie it on my head like a bandanna with the knot at the nape of my neck. 2 bobbypins at the top, and one on each side by my ears hold it on well.
My fiance thinks its hilarious but he loves that my hair isnt poking him in the face all night! and Im just happy that I can get 2nd day hair out of it by spritzing some water and a tiny bit of light gel!

for me, using massive amounts of gel the night before and clipping it seems to work. i just scrunch and go the next morning.

Default is this ok?

i pineappled with like an elastic hair tie since i dont have a scrunchy yet. will this dent my hair? and will it come out.

And idk if i would call it pineapple because I put it in a bun. It seems to work for me.

This is the sleep cap I use, bought at CVS:

http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/catalog/sh...ump&navCount=3

I have very thick, just-below-shoulder length hair. This cap does NOT move at all at night, stays on great. I kind of pineapple the curls at the top of my head with my hand and then slip the cap on. Works great!
