Another use for Suave Naturals Tangerine
I discovered this by accident a few months ago. I use my Suave conditioners for washing, conditioning and shaving and now use the Tangerine conditioner as a eye-makeup remover. It's great because you can apply to closed eyes like a lotion, wait a few seconds to penetrate the makeup and then massage the eye area(eyes still closed) with fingers. Then wipe carefully with a wet soft washcloth and voila every scrap and particle of eyemakeup is gone, gone, gone!!! I've never gotten it in my eyes and I've never experienced any irritation or anything.
I've done this everyday for 2 months to make sure it's not a fluke and it is now my only makeup remover. I now use it to cleanse my entire face. If it can cleanse my hair, it can cleanse skin right?
I use the other Sauve naturals scents more often on my hair but save the Tangerine for my skin. I did try the strawberry as a makeup remover but it didn't work at all. I'm thinking it's because the strawberry doesn't have the fruit oils in it like the Tangerine scent does.
Anyway, my beauty products budget is feeling pretty good these days since I can get Suave at my local discount grocery store. That leaves me with more money to try and find some Nexxus Emergencee here in T.O.

Thanks for the tip! The tangerine scent is great isn't it? I love it too!

Oh, fantastic tip!! Thank you, thank you!! Definitely trying this. Even the cheaper drugstore brand removers like L'oreal or Neutrogena are about eight bucks, and leave me totally unimpressed. I will be thrilled if I have luck w/ this!

I use baby oil or something like that, but I like this idea more!

I've tried the "oily" removers too but always got a film of oil on my eyeballs which made it irritating and blurry to see... somehow the oils in the tangerine conditioner never get in my eyes but get all the makeup off effortlessly.
kep me updated how it works for you all.

Great tip! I will try definitely give it a try. I use oils to cleanse with a couple days a week, then use Burts Bees orange oil cleanser. The Suave tangerine smells similar and would sure be cheaper!
I've been shaving with Suave conditioners for years now and it has solved all dry skin issues. And again, cheap!

Interesting! Do you use waterproof mascara?

nope, but since waterproof mascara is "waterproof" not oil proof, I figure the small amount of oils would be good enough to penetrate the mascara....what do you think?

IDK. It'd have to be a fair amount of oil as mine's pretty waterproof - not easy to remove except with oil or a good oil-free remover. Just the way I like it so it'll stay put!
I'm liking my skin care routine at the moment, but if I decide to switch it up, I may give this a try since it's so cheap.
