Surprisingly, it's pretty moisturizing. With the entire tea tree rep, you would think it'd be more "clarifying"- but it's nice and rich. There was just another thread about a couple weeks ago about this. The user was mentioning how their "richer" condishes are actually lighter than their GTTTT. I very much agreed with her. I've tried the Smooth as Silk conditioner, their second to heaviest condish, and it wasn't as rich as GTTTT condish (when it's ranked almost the lightest condish.)
It truly is like the perfect conditioner for my fine dry hair. Sometimes I even wonder if the tea tree somehow helps shut down the folicle (or is it cuticle lol, I've lost track) like an ACV rinse would. Doesn't weigh it down like GVP balm can at times, but it provides an adequite amount of moisture. I've recently started low pooing with the companion poo, and it doesn't strip my hair at ALL. I used a quarter size amount of it to a quarter size amount of Jessicurl HCC. Next time, I'm using it on it's own. Usually I'm sensitive to soy proteins which the poo contains, but it didn't effect me- guess the mild surfactants took care of it.
GVP balm is still another love though- gives me better curl formation as a leave in than GTTTT.
