Default Curly or Straight

This is a pic of my hair:

Now I want to let it grow more and make it curly somewhat like this:

Now is their a way I can make that way and what type of products should I use? I know of someone who did it to his hair and he had nappier hair than mines, but I forgot to ask him how he got it that way.

So if there is a way to do it please let me know. Thanks

It just depends on whether your hair has the same degree and type of curl. You can enhance and tweak what you have some but can't significantly change the way your hair curls naturally.

The way you can see it shaved short at his hairline almost makes it look like he has a wig sitting up there!

it depends on how your hair grows..the curl size, etc... just let it grow out and follow the CG method, hopefully you'll see progress
