Baking Soda Conditioner

So i saw a girl on youtube that made a baking soda condish with a cup of condish a half cup of baking soda and some oil and left it in for an hour as a dt. I have used baking soda b4 as a risne but Im wonder if the condish mix would make a good co-wash....im a lil skeptical b/c the baking soda rinse did dry me out but what were your experiences

I can't imagine as a conditioner. It does dry hair out believe me. I like it as a rinse. I substutute it for shampoo at times but only when I feel like my scalp needs a good cleaning. I use gentle shampoos but they don't always make my scalp feel good and clean..
Here is a recipe and instructions for a baking soda clarifier. I would never use baking soda as a conditioner. I clean my household drains with it!
3b spirals, fine texture, normal porosity, dense
