Default KCCC + BHRG Combo

I think this is a pretty popular combination. I finally found some BHRG but I'm wondering:

How much of each do you use?

Do you premix or apply separately?

At what stage of wetness do you apply?

I think there are a few other threads similar to this one, so you could probably do a search to find out more.

For me, personally, I use two finger scoop-fulls of KCCC on soaking wet hair, rake it through, then apply a dime-sized drop of BRHG afterwards (also raked through). I then comb the combo through my hair to ensure even distribution. After this, I scrunch with my Curls Like Us towel to activate the curl and take out extra wetness.

Really, with these two, less is more. I applied a quarter-size drop of the BRHG today and I'm still SOTC'ing!

Thanks! I tried searching but I didn't find anything that gave specifics on how they're applied.

Really varies a lot from person to person. (Gee, where have we heard that before?)

I use a two-finger scoop of KCCC for each side of my head. Into each scoop, I mix about a pinky-fingernail size of BRHG. I do this because BRHG is so sticky, I can't scrunch it in by itself, even after KCCC, because my hair will stick to my hands. Plus, by mixing it with KCCC, it distributes better throughout my hair.

I apply this combo to very squeezed out hair. In colder weather, I even use my Curl-Ease towel first to get the excess water off my scalp. In warmer weather, just squeezing out excess water is enough prior to application.
