Drips and wet shirts.

For those that don't plop or diffuse, how do you stop the drips and wet shirts. I sometimes squeeze the ends with a t shirt but it still drips.
3b | low-normal porosity (still confused, definitely not high porosity) | med to coarse texture

I DO plop and diffuse, lol, but my hair isn't dripping when I'm plopping or diffusing. When I get out of the shower, I dry off my body, not touching my hair at all, and wrap a towel around myself (body, not hair.) I do all my post-shower stuff (deodorant, lotion, etc) and then I put a bathrobe on. My hair sits on the robe while I put products in. It absorbs a good amount of excess water and I don't get any frizz. By the time I'm done producting and scrunching, it's not dripping at all. I plop to protect it from putting on clothes (shirt over the head) and then almost immediately take down the plop and diffuse until just slightly crunchy.
Not Cindy or Sindy or Syndey or any other such abomination.
It's Sydney, like Australia.

I just drape a towel over my shoulders when I get out of the shower and dry off my body with another towel. My hair is quite porous so it doesn't take long before it is drip-free (maybe 5 minutes), I add my styling products right away and then brush my teeth and do my make-up. By the time I get dressed my hair is dry enough underneath that my clothes don't get wet.

ETA: I also gently scrunch a lot of the excess water out of my hair before I get out of the shower.
3b. Normal porosity. Medium texture. Low elasticity.

CONDITIONERS: GVP The Detangler, Tresemme Naturals Nourishing, CJ Curl Rehab, CJ Hibiscus & Banana Honey Butta, Suave Pomegranate Splash, KC Knot Today

LEAVE-IN: Shea Moisture Shea Butter (LOVE!)

STYLERS: CJ Curl Queen (LOVE!), Biotera Gel, LA Looks Sports Gel, AOMM
I also put a towel on my shoulders under my hair when I get out of the shower, but I often add more water back to it if it's not squishy enough. Then if I don't plop or diffuse, I still scrunch upside down with a Curlease, flour sack, T-shirt - anything "curl safe" to get the curls going well and absorb excess moisture. I never have trouble with my clothes getting wet.

HG Method: Super Soaker + Smasters-ing, brief upside down diffusing then clips or clamps & air dry. Blend gray w/henna glosses

I squeeze out most of the water before I put my leave-in in. Then I scrunch it dry post-creme and pre-gel with a curl towel. It's damp but not dripping.

If I do Rudeechick's Super Soaker method, then I just put on a hoodie until it's not so drippy.

CG since 2/07 and loving it!
I scrunch water out of my hair upside down after I rake through my leave in. Then, I dry my body off with a towel. Next, I turn my head back over and scrunch out water with a t-shirt. Then, I do my routine (lotion, moisturizers,) which takes about 5-7 minutes. Finally, I spray Set It Free and rake through HESMU. Scrunch and air dry. If I am still drippy I will put a dry t-shirt around my shoulders.

Wow, that sounds like a lot but it really isn't. HTH!
Trying to get back on a more CG friendly routine

I will put my hair in a loose french twist and let it dry a bit before taking it down. It's still damp but not too dry either to have a funny shape from being up. A lightweight fork works best to hold it in place.

QUESTION -
I know you shouldn't use a towel to dry your hair but would draping it around your shoulders be fine?

I hate when my hair get the back of my neck/shirt gets wet. I just add product and scrunch with a t-shirt a whole bunch, especially upside down I can't plop, it makes my hair all funky.

Crazy-picky hair; likes some oils and proteins, but not others, can tolerate some glycerin.

Current products-
Co-wash: Suave/Vo5/TJ Refresh
Rinse out & Leave in: Suave Tropical Coconut/Garnier Triple Nutrition
Gel: Herbal Essences Set Me Up/Aussie Tizz No Frizz
I scrunch out as much water as I can when applying product or leave in, and then drape a big t-shirt or towel over my shoulders to keep the wet hair off my shirt. It mostly does the trick.

Low-poo: Yes to Carrots Daily Pampering Shampoo (1-2x/week)
Rinse outs: Yes to Carrots Pampering Mud Conditioner
Styling: a little bit of leave in and a little bit of KCCC, diffusing
Olive oil DTs, honey rinses in the summer
I use a Curls Like Us cloth to squeeze/scrunch out water (after applying my leave in). And I drive to work with a floursack towel draped on my shoulders to catch the remaining stuff.
